Erosion treatment

Electro-erosion treatment is a method of changing the shape, size, properties of the surface, which is use the effect of an electric discharge on the workpiece when using an electrode.

It is used to change the size of metal products – to obtain holes of various shapes, shaped cavities, profiled grooves and grooves in parts made of hard alloys, for tool hardening, cutting, etc.


Turning the process of cutting a small layer from the workpiece until the desired shape is obtained, as well as the surface roughness and dimensions on special lathes. On lathes machined parts such as rotation bodies: shafts, gears, couplings, nuts, etc.

When counter milling, the cutting tool, and the workpiece are moving towards each other. The cutter has an effect from top to bottom. With associated metalworking cutter is directed upwards from the bottom.
